Pre-Event Dinners

Want the opportunity to go to dinner with one of our speakers before an event? We treat our guest speakers to dinner prior to every address and debate, and attendance is open to both members and non-members.

Why come to dinner before an event?

• A guaranteed opportunity to chat to the speakers in a more informal environment
• A reserved, front-row seat for the event taking place afterwards
• A way for non-members to attend Union events

What and where:

A three-course meal with wine, and are held at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant at Hotel Indigo prior to each speaker event, starting at around 6pm, before the event commences in the Chamber at 8:30pm.

Dress Code (depends on the event taking place after dinner):

For addresses and panel discussions: lounge suits/smart casual

For debates: black tie/smart

Pricing:

£25 for Union members
£35 for non-members + free access to the event and drinks reception afterwards
If you’re elected to the General Committee or you’re an Officer, the price is reduced even further.

Pre-event dinners are often in high demand. Bookings are open 2 weeks in advance.
