Pre-Event Dinners

Want the opportunity to go to dinner with one of our speakers before an event? We treat our guest speakers to dinner prior to every address and debate, and attendance is open to both members and non-members.

Why come to a pre-event dinner?

Attending a pre-event dinner is the perfect opportunity for you to chat with and get to know world-renowned speakers in a more informal environment.

Everyone attending a pre-event dinner shall receive a reserved, front-row seat for that evening’s event and an invitation to the drinks reception after the event.

Pre-event dinners also provide a way for non-members to attend Durham Union events.

Where are they held?

All of our pre-event dinners are held at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant at Hotel Indigo. They consist of a three-course meal with wine included. The dinners start at 6pm, before that evenings event commences at 8:30pm.
