24 North Bailey Club
24s Bar
Open to all Durham Students, 24 North Bailey Club, known affectionately as 24s, is the perfect place for everything from a bar crawl to a quiet drink.
24s is home to all of the Union’s social events. Our Members-only socials and post event drinks receptions are hosted in the Reading Room, while the bar hosts our karaoke nights and the 24s Pub Quiz.

Bar profits are reinvested into the Union and the bar itself, helping to support the Society.

Sunday to Thursday: 20:30-23:30
Friday to Saturday: 20:30-00:30
Living and working at 24s
The Union offers eight large rooms as student accommodation, giving members the chance to live right in the centre of Durham, next door to 24s. Applications to live there normally open in late Michaelmas.
The bar is staffed by students who are members of the Society. If you would like to apply for a regular shift, want to help run social events, or want to book any of the facilities at 24s, please email the Custodian at custodian@dus.org.uk.
